AI Usage Policy for Contributors
At According To, we value authentic voices and original perspectives. To preserve the integrity of our platform, we ask all contributors to follow this simple AI policy:
Your ideas and your writing must be your own:
AI tools must not generate your drafts, arguments, paragraphs, or full sentences. We publish human opinions, not machine‑written ones.
Limited acceptable uses of AI:
You may use AI sparingly for:
grammar and sentence‑structure cleanup,
spell‑checking,
clarity suggestions that you personally edit and approve.
What’s not allowed:
Letting AI write or rewrite your piece,
Using AI to generate arguments, takes, or analysis,
Submitting content that is substantially machine‑written.
Our readers expect original thought—and some of them even run AI‑detection tools to make sure our work is authentic. We think that’s pretty cool, and we want to make sure what we publish reflects real voices and honest perspectives.
In short: AI can help you polish, but it cannot do the writing for you.

accordingto.ca is a volunteer-run startup. Once we have enough of a subscriber base, we’ll register and incorporate. The goal of this publication is to bring the next generation into the conversation and give them the platform to shape it.
