We sat down with Eric Lombardi, one of five candidates in the running to be the next leader of the Ontario Liberal Party.
The conversation comes two days days after Prime Minister Mark Carney called off trade negotiations with the United States and moments after Ontario Premier Doug Ford and President Trump traded public jabs online.
During the episode, we discuss the effects of the trade war, and Ontario’s place in it. We talk healthcare, and what Lombardi says needs to change about Ontario’s system.
Finally we get into the rise of antisemitism in Ontario, and what the province’s role ought to be in addressing it.
Thanks for watching and listening
